My Simple Face Regimen

I receive so many questions about my face regimen that I thought it was time to share! It’s actually pretty simple.

I’m not going to lie to you and say, “drink more water” because I know for a fact that I don’t drink as much as I should. When it comes to my face I only use a few things.

I use these 3 products with an occasional face mask or peel if I’m feeling “extra”.

  • Dr. Murad Essential – C Cleanser $39
  • Dr. Murad Environmental shield with SPF 30 $63
  • E.L.F Hydrating Gel Mask $12

Dr. Murad’s formula has transformed my skin. I used to have uneven pigmentation with light spots for all of my teen years and most of my twenties. The Vitamin C in the products helps to smooth pigment without lightening my face. The scent and feel of the cleanser and moisturizer is pleasant and not over powering. Dr. Murad comes with a hefty price tag when purchased individually, but they frequently have deals, and you can get the 30 trial pack for only $50 which comes with other products to try.

E.L.F has an amazing hydrating gel mask! I stumbled upon this when I couldn’t afford to spring for Dr. Murad’s almost $70 intense moisturizer. My skin was having an extreme dry spell at the beginning of summer and I needed something asap, and boy was I surprised! This inexpensive little jar packs a punch. I spread the gel all over my face and let it sit for about 10 minutes and then wipe it off. For max moisture I just rub it in instead of sitting for 10 minutes. It is extreme moisture! I use it as a mask 3 times a week and I havent had a dry flaky day since!

Now, in no way am I saying that this regimen will work for everyone, but it’s what I’ve found to work for me. With a combination of healthy eating habits, sleep, and God given genes, I have been able to sustain my face! Lol! Both of these companies have other great products to cater to your personal needs, and I highly recommend them.
